He is known for using techniques such as photocopies, screen printing, drawing and collage in his photography. Woith-Santoro was born in Todi, Umbria and attended the University of Rome “La Sapienza” from 1988 to 1993 where he studied Visual Anthropology.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.arte.it/notizie/italia/la-casa-del-mago-2810 )〕 Santoro-Woith’s work has been exhibited internationally and his work is held in public and private collections. His solo exhibitions have included a prestigious show at the Musée de l'Elysée in Lausanne,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.stile.it/protagonisti/vita-ed-esposizioni-di-mario-santoro-woith/ )〕 Wheaton College (MA), Galleria "Il Diaframma" in Milan, M.Y. Art Prospects Gallery in New York. From 2010 to 2012 he was one of the artists of the ABC Artists' Books Cooperative. The book trilogy, EUR, Decadence Darkness Empire and More War Less Art were acquired by the Library Council Collection of artist’s books of Museum of Modern Art (New York)〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://arcade.nyarc.org/record=b753446~S8 )〕 in 2011.
